| Pic.#1 - After taking the ferry across the Pelly River at the village of Ross River and after climbing out of the Ross River valley (the first 30 km. can be very slick with mud if there are recent rains) the North Canol is a fine two track gravel road heading N.E. You may be tempted to run at high speed as you may be the only vehicle on the road all day, but beware of the wildlife, especially MOOSE and Caribou that sometimes graze very close to the edge of the road! |
